Memorial Message:
Danny died in 2008, after several months in the Butler VA hospital battling cancer. He spent the last month of his life in his mother's home in Franklin. I am glad that he was able to spend time with some of his high school friends, Daisy Straub, Jim Freeman and me. Danny was who he was, without pretense, and he always made us laugh.

I'm still laughing at his utter disregard for his own personal safety.
